I believe you can find this information in the cic.gc.ca website under Application Processing times.

Currently it is:

53 months

I had applied for my mom's sponsorship in Oct 2008. In Nov 2011 I received a letter asking me to submit additional documents which I did in Jan 2012. I am now awaiting further instructions. Did you check your online status or CIC's automatic status check at their call center? You can also speak to a representative, if you are calling from Canada, and ask for a status update.

I have applied my parents in 2008 and my case is approved in canada and file is sent to New delhi on feb-10-2012 and waiting for medical and police clearance letter from embassy.
