Family Oath sameday:Passport surrender:Travlling India on Visa

Hello,
I have below situation, Please suggest/advise.
1) Family of 3 got Oath ceremony on 8th Nov 2023. Can we sit together on same computer, any idea? (We have seat Numbers in sequence.)
2) After the ceremony we are planning to apply for passport immediately and travel to USA and then to India. ( we have tickets booked already in advance). The trip is from 10th of December 2023. I will apply in person for passport by showing my travel dates, I will opt for 2-4 days delivery.
Question is Indian Visa. Now that India has resumed Visa services I'm planning to apply for Indian Visa. A) Do I have to surrender my passport before applying for Indian Visa? B) How many days it will take for Exit paper which will be required later when we apply for OCI? C) Given current backlogs at BLS, is it possible to Finish these(visa,pp surrender etc) before traveling ?
I have heard about agents for BLS who are active in that area charging extra and providing these express service, has any one encountered?

1) Yes. Have your Zoom name as your seat nos, comma separated. For eg. 42, 43, 44
2) Surrender certificate depends on the location. Ottawa is 7-8 weeks others 2-3 weeks. Entry visa official processing time is 45 days but first lot you have applied got it processed in 2 days and would have it hand in 2-3 days more.
