I want to know how much time it takes to get visa for dependents after application.

It depends where they are from. It could take several months or several years.

Also you should note that you need to include your family as dependants on your application and provide all relevant documents (passports, birth certificates, PCCs for spouse and adult dependant children, etc) for all of your family whether or not they are accompanying you.

Also note that if you mark that your spouse is not accompanying you, you cannot claim any adaptability points for your spouse's language ability or former employment/study or family in Canada.

If you only want to wait 2-3 months after landing, a better strategy may be for you apply for your whole family now. Once your visas are issued you will have a year from the date of your medicals to land. You can land quickly after getting the visa, and your family can land a few months later. It is not necessary for all of you to land together, so long as the principal applicant lands first or together with the first group of your family to land.

But if I pay processing fees for my family also and in case my application gets rejected for any reason, will the processing fees be refunded?
