Hi all,

What type of visa I should choose for my wife, if she is going to accompany me when I go as a student?
Is it visitor, work permit or study permit?

if u r on student visa, ur spouse is eligible to apply for open work permit..this will help if she intends to work there..validity of work permit will be same as ur study visa.
If on multiple entry visa,she can stay with u for 6 months at a strech n then need to return back to home country. Also she won't be eligible to work if on visitor visa.

From the beginning of the application, I should choose the choice that my wife is skilled worker or that is not related to what you are kindly saying? taking into consideration that my wife is holding a post secondary degree from NOC A and has no experience. Also, if she is going to Canada with a work permit, can she apply to a study permit after while?

Lastly, what about my children ? what type of visa I should apply for them they are 2 and 1 years ? and both work and study are not applicable for them?!!
