I have my sister who resides on Canada with PR status. I have mentioned her name and address on application, does this increases the risk of visa rejection? However my sponsors are my parents. Somewhere I heard that having a family member with PR increases the risk of visa rejection.

Not sure if it increases the risk, But I have PR Status in canada and my brother got visa approved and he mentioned my name in the application.
He received even faster than the regular processing time.

I don't think that affects the application. Its just that they ask more questions when student lands in canada.

Good luck.
