Family Information Sheet for Sponsorship under R117(1)h (Manila)

I just have a question on how to fill up the R117(1)h form. My aunt, who is my Sponsor, received a letter from CPC stating "Please note that you must complete each section by indicating the name, date of birth, date of death, address and status in Canada (if applicable) for each family member. This information is important to be able to assess your eligibility as a Sponsor." My aunt is having a hard time filling up the form. She is single, has no relatives in canada and has no children. Should she write the names and date of birth/death of death of her relatives abroad? What should she write in the address and status in Canada fields? Hope someone could enlighten us about this. Thanks in advance.

1. She is going to have to demonstrate that her parents and grandparents are dead. That she is not married, has no children. That She doesn't have an Aunt/Uncle/Niece/Nephew/Brother/Sister in Canada. So she will have to list all her Aunts/Uncles and Nieces/Nephew where they are, and any Brother and Sisters where they are.

We got an email requesting we fill out the "Family Information Sheet for Sponsorship under R117(1)(h). This make our application incomplete. This form was not requested in the original application.
1. It says we must reply by the date specified. There is no specified date. The only date is the date the email was sent.
2. The following two sentences make no sense.
I do not have a spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather,
grandmother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, nephew, or niece who is a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident of
Canada. What difference should this make if I want to sponsor my sister in Spain?[/color]

grandfather, grandmother, brother or sister that I can sponsor under the Family Class. I am a Canadian Permanent Resident, applying for my Canadian citizenship, trying to sponsor my sister from Spain which the website says can be done.

However, my former spouse is a Canadian citizen, so should I fill in the complete line for him, with "status" showing "cc"?

Who writes these forms and letters? Are they being translated from another language? Is English not the first language of the translator? I have a Master's in English. The language in most of these forms and documents is the worst I have ever seen.

It all makes perfect sense if you do your research.

There is no sibling sponsorship stream in Canada. The only way that you can qualify to sponsor your sister is if she is an orphan under the age of 18 or through the "lonely Canadian rule". The latter is what those 2 sentences are referring to.

You do NOT qualify to sponsor your sister if you have a spouse, children, living parents, living grandparents or a family member listed who is a Canadian citizen/PR.

Response: I am doing the same thing now. I listed all those names under each in all types of relationships and the addresses refer to wherever they are now. The answer to the "status in Canada" I wrote "N/A" because this, does not apply to them all they are all in the Philippines (in my case).

I have a question.
If she has a brother but not in Canada?!
She will still eligible for sponsoring her nephew or niece?!
