There is no definite pattern during hearing, anyone can be questioned. Minor are not supposed to attend even if they are associate claimants

My application was a family hearing. ( my wife, myself and 4year old son). We were informed not to bring the child to the hearing because he is a minor.
On the hearing date, board member first directed all his questions to me because I am the principal applicant before proceeding to further ask my wife questions.

Most times the board member will likely ask the principal applicant the questions before the other family members. Please note that board member may use his discretion to determine the direction of the hearing.
