Family ETA needed, and Visa for others.. how to combine both?

I am Norwegian and travelling with my Egyptian family members for 10 months visit. I would liek to apply for visa for my Family and I understood that me myself should not apply for visa, instead I will apply for ETA. How my Family should apply from Norway and how much time it is needed to finish these processes? Also, my wife needs to make biometrices, is there any near Places to Norway for that?

Hi,

You cannot combine your eTA with the visa applications for your family.

You must apply for your eTA here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta-start.asp


Your wife and other accompanying members from non-visa exempt countries can either apply online or at the nearest VAC.

For online (they must give their biometrics within 30 days of getting the biometrics request):
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp


They can apply by paper + give their biometrics at the London (UK) VAC which is the only VAC for Norway
