On the checklist is states you need to provide: "Birth certificates or baptismal certificates for yourself and all family members, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not.".

Which family members are those? Your spouse & kids?

Or is it all family members - brothers, sisters, half-brothers, parents, etc.

What happens if you can't get some of those documents because you are no longer in touch with some of these people?

1. In Canada Immigration "speak" your family is your spouse and dependent children, your brother/sisters and others are relatives. So you only need the spouse and dependent children documents.

The "additional" family members' information such as brothers and sisters will be collected on IMM5406

One last question before we hopefully finish our application.

The checklist asks for "Supply two (2) recent photos for each of your accompanying family members and yourself."

Is this only for my wife (the applicant) and NOT for me and my kids who are all Canadian citizens.
