Hello all, as promised I am opening this forum because today my wife landed and wanted to be here to answer any questions people new to process might have. I was fortunate to have many great people help me.

My timeline:
Sent application to Mississauga sept 15or20
Sponsorship approved and application mailed to paris oct 31st, medical results received
In process January 11 ish
Decision made January 18ish
COPR mailed to Spain January 25th ish
Landed by flagpole February 2

first of all congratulations!!!
I wanted to know what does it mean medical results recieved.
From what I've understood so far my partner goes to the doctor, the doctor hands him a document to send in with the application, and then he sends a copy to cic. Right????

if so why does it take in your case a month for cic to get the results??

The medical is done before the application is sent, the doctor in your home country gives you a slip.then when paris receives the application from missassauga they get the medical results from your home doctor. Make sense ??

yes it does.
I thought the doctor had to send the results to Missisauga directly.

Hi everyone,
I received an email from the Paris office saying that my COPR had been sent on February 22nd. I live in Toronto and I think that regular mail from France to Canada takes about 10 days... It is today March 12th and I still don't have my COPR... does that mean the letter got lost?
