Hello,

I have applied spousal sponsorship on May 24, 2017. Currently CIC have transferred my file NDVO office on October 2017, Then i have completed police clearance and medicals. Since our marriage my husband is living with me. The NDVO office have asked me to provide the documentary evidence. How you are supporting your wife. I have provided all the documents to them on November 27, 2017. But till now we haven't received any acknowledgment so far. Recently i Have raised a request of status of my application trough IRCC Webform. Right now i am very concerned about my application. If anyone have any idea what's the next thing. Please help me out with this matter.

I understand waiting could be very frustrating......but if you have provided all necessary document to IRCC.....and not heard from IRCC relax, its a wait game.......since your file has been transferred to NDVO......they usually don't respond.........except if they want additional documents.

IRCC completes most spousal sponsorship within 10 to 12 months and you have reached the 10th month.......relax, wait and don't send anymore request for Status.........it will be over soon.

Good Luck......

The entire process is very stressful and frustrating but you have to be patient. I am being sponsored by my partner and we submitted my application in Aug 2017, it was received a month later and additional docs requested and submitted early Oct 2017. Since then nothing... until a few days ago we received a request for a medical. I was driving myself crazy thinking something was wrong but having received the medical request I now know everything is moving in a forward direction. It just takes time. You can also contact your local member of parliament, they have a form you can submit requesting a more detailed update on your application. Hang in there!

I can understand how you feel, the process is very stressful and frustrating......it needs patience and its a wait game.

If they requested for additional documents which you have already sent them its good, and if there was a problem they would have contacted you.

Most application are usually processed between 9 to 12 months.......usually on a case by case basis......so while its good to compare your timeline with others, don't be too critical as individual cases vary depending on their complexity.

You have completed 10 months.......and i am 100% you will hear from them soon.......be very patient

Good Luck
