Hi folks

We are applying to extend our work visas and visitor status for kids! we have received an AOR like two weeks ago! my questions are!!!

Since we are applying on line, is there any where a place where i will write down AOR number???

What should i put in Family member proof of status! Since i am the main applicant i am little confused, should i put wife, and kids permits???? or....

Digital photos, just mine or all of us?

since i dont have written job offer, but i am employed , and i want to apply for OWP what should i check ??? i have marked ( An initial work permit or a work permit with new employer )??? and should i check this as well for wife since she was on closed work pemit, she had an LMO?

and now do i have to fill in her form date from her employer since we want for her as well OWP???


And regarding kids, they are on visitor staus, Should i select

Extension of my temporary resident status, or
Initial temporary resident permit or extension of temporary resident permit ????

I have been reading post on this form and submitted my CEC application on May 23rd, 2014. Received AOR on July 8th, 2014. Submitted BOWP application online on July 28th, 2014. Checked application status today (August 11th) and found that application is approved. It took only 15 days though CIC website says 24 days. Now waiting for hard copy of the BOWP and VR for kids. Wanted to update my experience with BOWP, it might help some of you.

Principle Applicant (me) - Documents provided for BOWP:
(1.) IMM5710E - Main Application. Answers to 2a & 2b - Not Applicable - BOWP. Q3 thru Q7 - Blank.
(2.) Passport Copy except blank pages.
(3.) Marriage Certificate
(4.) IMM 5713E - Use of Family Member Rep Form
(5.) My Photo
(6.) IMM5257B - Schedule 1
(7.) Explaination Letter + AOR Letter + Valid WP + Additional Sheet about Employment togather as one PDf

Spouse Application for BOWP - Documents submitted:
(1.) IMM5710E - Main Application. Answers to 2a & 2b - Not Applicable - BOWP. Q3 thru Q7 - Blank.( if you're applying for spouse write "Spousal Open Work Permit - Not Applicable").
(2.) Passport Copy except blank pages.
(3.) Medical Proof. It was about to expire in September 2014
(4.) IMM5257B - Schedule 1
(5.) Same Explaination Letter + AOR Letter + Valid WP togather as one PDf

Child - Visiting Record Extension
(1.) IMM5708E - Main Application
(2.) Passport Copy except blank pages.
(3.) IMM5257B - Schedule 1
(4.) Same Explaination Letter + AOR Letter + Valid WP togather as one PDf

My wife was on Visitor Visa earlier and now submitted for BOWP togather. I didn't provide photos for spouse and child because I could not find place to upload online but explained it in the explaination letter that I can provide in email if needed. They didn't ask for any photo. Both BOWPs and child Visitor extension approved for one year

I got BWP yesterday itself now I have to apply visitor permit (they were having earlier also) for my spouse & kid.

My question is

Should I apply MyCiC for applying the same or should I use my spouse MyCiC (not existing right now) account.

Hello guys, I'm doing my family application, BOWP for my wife and me, and visitor for my daughter, I'm going to send by mail. I read we have to send photos, but I'm looking on the document checklist IMM5556E, and I didn't found nothing about that :-[. If only for online applications????.
And could someone explain about the fee pay? is work permit extension $155 for each one, or Open work permit holder fee $100 for each one, I don't know wich I have to choose. For my daughter should be Extension of Authorization to remain in Canada as Temporary Resident (extension of visitor status) $100.

at the end of e-form with little letters says that you need to provide a picture for applications, it was as well for us and for kids applications! so i have scanned our pictures, and what i did i have attached them in supporting documnets since there is only for main applicant section to put picture in separate section!

Thanks shek1lla, but you did it online, right?. I'm going to send by mail, Do I have to send photos too?. And How much exactly is the fee for each one, $155, or $100, or $255 open work permits, visitor is $100...
