My Family will be applying for Citizenship in August. They had only been out of Canada for 30 days. Kids will also apply with my Wife. They have been studying in schools since arriving in Canada. Myself have traveled frequently and also will need to keep original citizenship for some inheritance in future back home.

Please advise what shall I include with application.

- Apply for OHIP for my wife
- Apply CBSC Report
- Linc Certificate

My wife had been attending Linc for last two years and have certificate for Level 6. She is a housemaker. Now she is starting Volunteer Work in a primary school as Class Assistant. She have plans to attend diploma for Class Assistant in next semester. Should we include all this information.

What else we shall include to avoid delays or RQ?

Thanks in advance for your wonderful support.

Please list all supporting documents.

For your wife, the CBSA report showing that she hasn't been travelling much, copies of all pages of her passport, proof of having been in Canada such as proof that she has been attending a course or doing something for the past 3 years. Tax returns.

Nobody can guarantee that she wont get an RQ. If she does, you just have to deal with it. Just hope for the best.

Hi Leon,

I ,myself is a great admirer of your posts and do not any have intentions to challenge your knowledge ,but dont you think that due to the intoduction of CBSA clause in the new application form, self submitting of CBSA records has become redundant.

Your advice in this regard is highly appreciated,as it might not only help me but many other future applicants.

Thanks

You are right. I did not know they had added it to the form but since they have, you do not need to request your CBSA history yourself, just check Yes for that question.

Thanks Leon for your support to this forum...

One more thing.

In employment column: shall we mention she has been student in Linc Program, now volunteer at a school, and future prospectus student in Teaching Assistant in college. This is what she has been doing.

Thanks Bro.

In the employment and education column, list all of her activities for the past 4 years. They do not care about future plans, only the past 4 years.

Do not leave out any month. For the time she was not attending any program or work outside the house, write homemaker. Kind of like this:

From To Work/Education Employer/School City, Country
Date 1 Date 2 Homemaker N/A (your home town), Canada
Date 2 Date 3 Attending Linc Linc (your home town), Canada
Date 3 Date 4 ...
