If a person dosent work in the 38 occupation list, however manages to get a letter from his/her manager which states the the job title and description from the 38 list...will this work??

How can the CIC verify the reference letter??

Yes.That is what we call misrepresentation.

is there a way to verify this by the CIC...they usually contact the person who signed right?

my dear friend truth is always truth and a lie will not help(thats my opinion and experiance)

wow...! people think these countires are dreamland and just rush through somehow... and eventually dream will come true...!

get a job in ca and convince me. getting a letter from your shaddy consultant is not difficult buddy.

They will speak to your senior Manager, whoever has signed it. They might come for a personal visit, they will call you for a personal interview, how much will you lie and how much do you think others can lie for you. I strongly urge you not to do this.

Pls dont do this, as it creates wrong impression about others who are genuine.

If they doubt ur docs legitimacy they could call u for interview and subject u to brain mapping, narco analysis and stuff like that till u break down and reveal the truth. These tests r really dangerous and could make u insane :o ??? :P :-\ :'( for the rest of ur life. SO THINK WELL IN ADVANCE .................

I am a bit put off by this question. I think it is unfair for someone to try to cheat the system but even worse is to ask help from this forum to do it.

MRK, Dont do it.

Chances are that you will be caught and then you will have to face the consequences for misrepresentation and falsifying the data.

OK, if you want to know the truth here it is -->

Yes, you should not falsify any information and you should apply only and only if you perform majority of job duties for your NOC code. If you are close it is OK to highlight a certain aspect of job.

For example, say you work as software team lead and several of job duties for 0213 matched except budgeting and hiring staff, you also do lot of software development. In this case if you get your actual experience letter IO might confuse you with 2173 NOC code. In this case you should get an experience letter which does not say much about coding responsibilities but highlights your managerial duties. If you could get budgeting and hiring in your experience letters, good for you. But do make sure that you submit additional documents like your org chart showing your direct reports, salary slips to prove your job and anything else which can help give IO confidence about your candidacy. Just remember, little lie can go with lot of truth.

Audits, interviews, site visits do happen randomly and you should be ready of these but I dont think they are that frequent. But if they catch you, you might be never allowed to get Canadian PR. Decide based on above facts, I understand your dilemma. Best of luck
