This morning I got a rejection on my express entry profile due to insufficient funds. it said the following:

I am not satisfied that you meet the requirement under paragraph i) because you have not submitted sufficient evidence to satisfy me that you have at least $12,300 in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. The amount of funds is assessed according to the applicant’s family size, using 50% of the current LowIncome Cut-off (LICO) from Statistics Canada for urban areas with populations of 500,000 or more. In your application you have declared an available amount of $13,000 in settlement funds. I have reviewed all information available and I am not satisfied that you have at your disposal, with sufficient liquidity, and with the ability to transfer those assets, the necessary threshold of funds to support your establishment in Canada on arrival. You have submitted evidence for funds in the amount of $11,178, assessed as per IRPR subsection 76(1)(b)(i), in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. You therefore have not satisfied me that you will be able to become economically established in Canada as a member of the federal skilled worker class as per R76(1)(b).
When I submitted my application, I gave them bank statements of two accounts:
Current account: 1205.68 Euros
Savings account: 7621.76 Euros

Which will sum up to 8827.44 Euros ~= 13357.24 Canadian Dollar which satisfies their requirement. and currently in my accounts I still have more than what I have represented at that time. I am wondering how did they calculate $11,178 and is there a way to contact them for explanation or/and make an appeal?

Raise a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) using the IRCC webform in the link below and ask to re-open your case since you believe it is IRCC's mistake. Don't forget to attach all evidences you have that you have submitted documents with enough funds at the time of application. Give them sometime to respond as it takes few weeks. Good Luck!

It looks like they only considered the savings account, did you merge all 12 statements (6 months' statements for each account) into a single file?

If you are certain that you provided documentation of both accounts, and you think the VO overlooked some documentation, you can send a CSE via webform, requesting reconsideration because you believe the VO made an error (they will not re-consider if you made the error).

If the current account is your day-to-day banking account, I would think it's unlikely they'll consider those to be immigration funds since it will vary based on your day-to-day transactions.

Yes it's my current account for my day to day expenses, and I merged all the statements for the past 6 months into one file and uploaded it. I am not sure why they would not consider my current account, I can also spend from my savings account at any point. I think I ll raise a Case Specific Enquiry as others advised, I do not think I have alot of options left. Thanks you all for your help.
