Anyone who has applied for Carleton, Concordia, Windsor or Ryerson can discuss out their profiles and any correspondence received from university for Fall 2017.
This will be greatly helpful for everyone applied in four of the above mentioned universities. Also once we are admitted we can discuss out about the study permit and visa application.

Starting with my profile : B.Eng Mech. (7.31/10 - till six semesters), IELTS : 7.0 (L-7.5, W-6.5, R-6.5, S-6.5), GRE : 301 (AWA - 3/6), two Projects, one internship of one month.

Great brother. I even dont know the exact time they take for making a decision. but usually it take 8+ months for graduate engineering decisons for international students.Also it vary from program to program.

I applied for Ryerson Uni. (MEng in Computer Networks), Carleton Uni. (MEng ECE), UOIT (MEng ECE), UBC (MEng ECE) and UVic (MEng MTIS)
I got accepted in Ryerson last week and I am still waiting for the rest.
Status in Carleton "Recommended for Assessment" (that status have not changed over a month)
Status in UVic "Under Review by Graduate Admissions"
Status in UBC " In Progress"
Status in UOIT" No Decision" (I do not know what means)

I applied in December in Ryerson, Carleton and UOIT, and in January in UVic and UBC.

Great brother. I even dont know the exact time they take for making a decision. but usually it take 8+ months for graduate engineering decisons for international students.Also it vary from program to program.

It does not take +8 months for international students, I have read in other posts some universities start giving their decision between February-April depending when you apply, the Visa can take up to 3 months and they have to give their answer as soon as possible so we can start all the process (if you ask for a financial aid it can take more time)

Most universities give their final decision between March and April, I do not know about UOttawa and Windsor but I sent an email to the ECE department at UBC and they wrote back they hope to have a decision by the end of March at the latest.
