no one is saint... and yes mistakes do happen. that is different from making fraud though. this was intentional where someone knowingly making a fake document. if anyone has that kind of intention and still does not want to go behind the bars, one should be refrained from coming to these countries, such as Canada, US, or the ones in EU and others. no one is being harsh here over anyone... everyone is raising a serious flag in their own way to explain the gravity of the issue.

there is no club that will support fraud in this forum. or are you trying to establish one? Are you from a society or country that says it kinda 'chalta hai' ? then I would push the red light for you as well. please don't try to be a harmonizer.

No need to be harsh on him,
we all have some bits of falseness in us either this way or that. none of us out here are saints.
best bet is to try and explain and gather as much documents as u can to support ur theory.
whatever the reason was. just state it and prove it with ur documents.
we all r humans and so are the immigration officers.

I would also point out that the OP only made the first post because he got caught.

He would have been more than happy for it to have been accepted, undetected as fraud, and for his application to have been successful. If he had said in the first post that he had accidentally made a terrible mistake and asked how to correct it, we might be more sympathetic.

This was 100% deliberate and not a "mistake" that anyone could/would make.

It does seem that there are some cultures where lying, cheating and document fraud are an accepted way of life and "doing business". A quick look round this and similar forums will demonstrate this... It may not be "politically correct" to point out this truth but it doesn't make it any less true.

Well, I presume from that once you too belonged to this culture of 'chalta hain' a third world country product. and now u can decide who can come and who cant.
If his intentions were wrong, the proof is that he is caught and if it happened by mistake he has a chance to explain. IM no one to judge, let the VO deal with it.
And neither do i support any false documents to be produced.

Instead of pointing out cultures , look around and don't forget to look at the mirror even.

No culture teaches u to do wrong stuff, but people from every culture tend to. not one culture is safe.
If he did something wrong , he should be punished but not from us, we r no judge.

if u believe u have added some fake docs as well pl send in your key info so that one of us can contact CIC to help prevent fraud. There is a fraud prevention toll free number and CIC would appreciate it.

This should be my last response to this issue as I don't wish to engage in war with the prince of darkness :)

Any other advise ?
Well this incident tells us that CIC does check if they think somethings are weird in your profile .... I think in this case they did call to your company and talked with your HR then found out you have provided a fake work certificate to them. I think it is very difficult for you to explain why you submitted a fake document at the first place... maybe you need to find a good immigration lawyer and get some advice from him/her. good luck
