HI
I suppose this question have been ask a lot but I can't find an answer that fits my situation. So a little bit of context:
My bf and I met and started dating in february 2014. He is from peru. We will get married in May and we want to send the application in June. We have been appart from around 8 months of relationship (long-distance), but we have been together in peru the rest of the time (first 2 months of relationship + I came for vacations in the middle of the 8 months period + I moved in peru in november and we now live together). We first met in person (not online) and we have just 3 years of age gap.
The main proofs of relationship that we have are:
- pictures the two of us, with friends and with his family in different place and contexts
- proofs of traveling (bus and plane tickets, receipts from tourism activities, etc.)
- mi return ticket reservation showing that I plan to stay here with him until november 2015
- Skype calls every day during separation, cellphone bills showing that I sometime called him
- We could have a letter from his mother stating that I live here with him (we live 2nd floor of his parent's house), or some letters from friends that know our relationship is real
- Facebook conversation during separation...(in spanish)
So my question is: Do you thing it is really important that I translate the Facebook conversations? Or I could just send a couple of printscreen? I first wanted to put like 2 pages of every week, but then I realized it is really hard to do. I always have to cut in the middle of a conversation so it would be hard to understand for the agent. And, if I translate all the conversation it would be a loot of pages. Maybe it would just upset them if I send like 400 pages of facebook conversation translated!?? Also it is a lot of work and I would really appreciate just skip that part..Another thing is that most of the Facebook conversations are from the first months (after that we were using mostly Skype) and it doesn't reflect the engagement that we currently have. We just sound like two young people we didn't plan to marry or to be together in Canada at that time. We generally just speak about our day, we plan things that finally never happened, or we fight about stupid things...
Thank you for helping me !
