Alright, this is pretty self explanatory; you just take many screenshots and print them out.

Edit: Let me just say this first: Downloading a copy of your Facebook data doesn't present the info very conveniently.

But because her and I have known each other for a very brief time, all our documentation must be abundant and thorough. We have over 40,000 messages, and every program out there that I have found does a horrible job of presenting your chat logs - most of them are just text - no profile pictures for each message, and if you sent a picture message, it won't show up, and usually emoticons won't, and probably not voice clip icons.

Social Safe was a very good program for that but it is broken now because as of last month, Facebook blocked it. I'm glad I didn't pay for it!

I want a log view that is as close to looking like a Facebook chat as possible. Each message should show the profile picture, name, date and time, and include images, emoticons etc. Do we have any ideas?

Note that CIC puts chat logs near the bottom of priority in regards to relationship evidence. I hope you have much better evidence. I would just print a few pages here and there and not worry about it too much. Don't sent hundreds of pages of chat logs. Some people did and when one person checked their notes, it said something like that the application was too bulky and many of the logs were simply shredded.

I concur with keesio; quality over quantity!

One simple option is to view the chat log on an iPad (or iPhone) and quickly press the power button and the home button simultaneously, which takes a picture of the screen. Then, just print out the photos of the chat logs, or email them to yourself and open them on your home computer that's [hopefully] connected to a printer.

My application's weight was about 1.5kilos.
We sent about 50 pictures and 10 pages of chat history.
I think that's enough. :D

There's a great screenshot app for the PC called "puush" the website is puush.me

I used this and ctrl+shift+4 to screenshot crop sections of text i thought showed the development of our relationship. When i was done scrolling through all the chat and screenshotting little sections, I logged into my puush account, downloaded them all, and pasted them into a word document. I think it was about 20 pages altogether, but we had 120,000 messages and had been talking for 5 years. I showed chats from where we started dating, to where we got engaged, when i was planning trips up. etc. the more important moments:) and a few mundane, funny ones too, to show our friendship.

Quality over quantity! the best advice people gave me was to provide evidence that best illustrates the development and continual nature of your relationship. Cherry-picking our chat logs didn't take as long as we thought it would, thankfully.
