Hi robertwangbo, Anburaj
My timeline is :
Application received : Nov 20th
Passport Request : Dec 6

Can you tell me how did you guys send your passport? Did you include priority processing while sending? Also did you use prepaid envelope(priority) in the application ? I have my travel on Dec 19th and so I'm looking for the quickest way to get my passport back.

Go to USPS and ask for two express mail envelopes. One is for you to send your pp and request letter, the other is a prepaid return envelope, you have to fold it and put it into the first envelope.

I bought a separate postage stamp(19.95 $) addressed to me and put it in the mail along with my passport + request letter + usps priority flat rate mail envelope + mailing label. Fingers crossed as my flight is booked for 19th December :(
