Extremely worried. Have I delayed in informing about the new born ?

I delivered my baby on 23rd April 2014. The letter informing CIC of my newborn reached them on 23rd June 2014 (courier tracking), in which I mentioned that the passport and birth certificate has not been received as yet and that I will send the required documents when I receive the passport and the birth certificate.

Today I read on a blog that birth of a new born should be informed within 60 days of birth. Is this true ? In that case have I delayed in informing them of the birth (by 1-2 days )?

Am extremely worried. A quick reply would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
 
Our Baby is due in August ;D we will will applying this month (WES willing ::) ) The process about the cover letter, Birth certificate, funds & passport aside when should we inform is a question I have as well

No need to be worried, there is no 60 day requirement.

Can you also let me know whether we can pay the $150 for the new born via their online payment service or should we send the draft as per the old file system ?

Is it essential to submit the new proof of (updated) funds, along with the other documents for new born ?
 
Nothing t oworry about, their is no such 60 days rule.
I've added my son when he was 1 year old.

not so sure about online payment though.
