Extra Points for International Students

Any one here know how many points an International student will get with the new immigration changes. I read that students in Canada will qualify easier with the new changes.

No. There might be news next week. However, remember that if your current score is not high, then with the new points coming in, everyone will also have higher score, so it doesn't mean you will be better off with the upcoming changes.

Oh ok. Thanks. But as I have heard, international students will get an easier access to immigration.

No. As of now, its worse than foreign workers because its preapproved works rather than open work permits. Things might or might not change later.

Lets just hope for the best. Most of the employers are not willing to provide LMIA as they are not in favor of disclosing a lot of personal information of theirs. I am stuck at 415 and don't see any ray of hope for getting an invite. Have my Fingers crossed for the new rules
