Hi I got extra point for CEC, I will complete 2 years in Feb 2017.

I had 466 till Nov 30 2016 and now today suddenly points got increased to 489.

What i can do to get back to my original score ?

I dont want to waste ITA.

did you make any changes to your profile?

No i dint make any changes. I saw it was 466 on 30 Nov and today suddenly it is 489.

kinda confused, have you already received the ita?
if not, why u worried your points went up?
ur score higher is even better,

i guess you can either call cic or in case you receive an ITA before feb decline it?

because they would decline it eventually after finding out that the person doesn't actually have a 2 year experience .

That is a bug in in their calculator. They consider your whole yrs experience on 11th month. So if you have joined early Feb 2015 it considers 2yrs on Dec.

If you get ITA, no need to worry, you can wait till you cross your exact date on Feb 2017 and then submit. There will be no rejection.

Are you currently working? Maybe you have completed two years of work experience or going to complete it. Points usually gets increased a little before you actually complete a year of work experience.
It could also be because you got more points for Canadian Education, but as far as i know, that requires actually logging in to your profile and answering a few addition questions.

I will complete my 2nd year at work in Feb 2017 as well. My points haven't changed though.

Yes i am currenlty working.

Earlier i had 451 point but with Canada education i went to 466. But suddenly i got extra points for CEC 2 year experience.

Ya i would decline it, if i receive ITA before feb 2017. I just dont want to waste ITA.

Other solution will be i will change my start date for now, so 11 month is not considered as whole year,

But if you change it to something else and receive an ita that still will be considered as false information wouldn't it? i would suggest you call CIC , see what they have to say about it.

or probably delete your work history column and re add it. that might work!

The same happened to me. You have to delete your second year of experience until you really complete the 2nd year.
