Extensive Delay in PNP PR Processing by IRCC...

Hi all,

Need some insight and opinions from your end, if anyone else is within the same following situation, experiencing and/ or experienced the same:

'Got my BC PNP nomination in December 2021 via BC tech program. Got the Express Entry ITA in January 2022, submitted all required documents including IELTS etc. by February 2022. The file processing commenced on 7th May 2022. Medicals were done upfront and were approved by 28th July 2022, got the biometric letter by 28th July 2022 as well. Biometric uploaded by 9th August 2022. Got a funds clarification email from IRCC on 20th October 2022 and replied to the email by 21st October 2022.

Complete silence from IRCC since 21st October 2022 and have not yet received my PPR. Raised several webforms with the same standard response "Your file is under process, we do not need any further documents and information, you will be notified once a decision on your file has been made". It's 30th August 2023 today and been almost 16 months since the file processing started by IRCC. Have applied from Abu Dhabi and would appreciate your thoughts and opinions in this regard and any idea by when can I expect a final response from IRCC.

You can opt to file writ of mandamus through lawer in Canada, mostly you are stuck in security screening.

Thank you for your response, just wondering should I apply for the write right away or probably wait till the end of this year and then do it? And will applying for GCMS notes at this point assist in any way or form.

The sooner is better, as long as you have no issue with the cost, its roughtly 4000 CAD.
