Extension Time - For Reply to Procedural Fairness Letter

Hi All
Time given to reply to PFL is 60 days by CIC , Is there any extension to reply to PFL is provided by CIC more than 60 days ? If yes, do the Local VO send any confirmation email stating that extension has been given provided ?
Has anyone gone through same scenario ?

Yes, I recd a mail from CIC extending it by 45 days . If possible for you to share , May I know what is the reason behind your PFL ?

Can you please suggest how to apply for extension and what email to use to request extension and how long it takes usually to get reply from CIC
