I thought the departure order letter included specific language around the 30 days and reporting departure to CBSA. But maybe I'm mistaken about that.
It may not be an official "Removal Order," but it does say to leave IMMEDIATELY if his time has expired. That, to me, is pretty clear,

I don't know if you've submitted already, but I would take scylla's comments above into serious consideration about employment and getting prepared. Ie getting a job and providing info about that to IRCC.

The bottom line is that both you and your spouse have not been employed for some time. "Support from family" is nice, but unless they're setting up a trust fund for you both, well, 'support from family' provides no way for government to have faith that you and/or your spouse will not go on social assistance.

While there are circumstances where they may give more leeway (students in university, beginning professional life/finalizing professional qualifications), this doesn't sound like that case.

Similarly for your spouse - while he can't legally work right now, getting prepared to do so would be a good idea.

Don't take this as being judgmental - but this is a weak aspect of your case.
I don't think it's judgemental, it's just stating the facts. A key part of sponsoring someone is being able to prove that you can financially support them. I don't see how OP could satisfy that requirement.

UPDATE:I just received a letter in my email today saying my husband's application for temporary residence / VR permit to remain in Canada has been approved!!???We are so happy yet confused as it just seems extremely fast. His validity is until 2021/11/27 .Our PR was submitted with proof and I'm thinking this really helped and made the officer reconsider for restoration??? They also said a paper document will be sent out as well. P.s praise God and Thank you to all for the advice etc! hopefully our PR application will go smoothly as well.

I’m happy for you. Hope you’ll hear soon about your PR application.

I’m quite surprised they approved quickly. In my case, I was waiting for an answer…5 months lol

@ldrissrafd Thank you! and yes we are quite surprised as well because all my husband's applications to remain took about 4 months to receive in the mail. Maybe things have changed since the pandemic..because the refusal was also sent via email.
