Extension pages in the passport meaning

Hello all,
Can anyone please tell me what is the meaning of Extension pages in the passport?
Basically I'm applying for UK police clearance certificate as this is one of the required documents for my Express Entry application. In the application for UK PCC, they have asked me to attach a copy of my passport including extension pages (if any).

Hi,

For the Passports, I scanned all the stamped pages including visa page of my three passports. This is because while I was applying for my London PCC, the website asked for 10 years of my address history. For the safer side, I scanned and uploaded all the passports. There will be an add(+) button to add an additional passport. One more thing, since I was in H4 extension twice, I scanned all the I-797 pages and uploaded it as well. From what I've known, the passport extension pages are the stamped extension date for the expiring passport from the embassy.

The submission of the more detailed documents will reduce the processing time. It took 3 weeks for processing my London PCC without any clarification or extra documents requirement.
