extension of visitor visa

Hello,
My wife has a visitor visa which she got before our wedding on basis of her father(he works here in canada), and now she is here.
Is there a way i can apply for extension of her visa? Also if there is any knowledge, a sound reason which can be helpful to extend her visa?

hi there.. yes , she can apply for the extension of her visit under you if you are legally authorized to work here.visit cic. gc.ca/ visitor ... it will lead you on how to apply for the extension of visitor permit.. or you call the cic hotline...
