Extension of BOWP

We applied for PR via CEC and got AOR in April 2014. Got a Bridging Open Work permit around the same time which is now set to expire in May 2015.

Do we need to apply for a new one or is there away to extend the original bridging open work permit?

We've had no correspondence with CIC since we got the AOR, so I don't expect that our PR will come through before May.

I too in same situation as you are. But I m in PNP process of AINP. I have AINP nomination at the time when I applied for PR in 2017 Jan. I have BOWP till may of this year. can I extend mine to apply before its expiry.
