Extension od stay - application processing dates.

The CIC web site currently states November 13, 2010 (web page updated today on 30th March 2011).

A friends application (sent in early November 2010) arrived at Vegreville on 17th Nov, 2010 has been granted - the Visitor record is dated 24th March 2011.

It looks like they are processing app's over a week in advance of the dates they are displaying on the website.

When you actually visit a return ticket is the best option in my opinion. Some airlines will not allow travel to Canada without a return ticket.
The application does not need a ticket, but you could submit an itinerary or planned schedule.


Medicals are required in some cases.
