if principal applicant land and spouse and children later? is there any possibility of extension of PR visa of accompanied family member?
Yes - the principal application can land without the spouse and children. As long as the principal applicant lands first, the spouse and children can land separately. Many have done this. It's perfectly fine.cimple said:if principal applicant land and spouse and children later? is there any possibility of extension of PR visa of accompanied family member?
thanks for your quick response .I was thinking the way you told but again here two point of view is different from mine and yours?scylla said:Yes - the principal application can land without the spouse and children. No - is it not possible to extend the PR visa for the accompanying family members. Use it or lose it.
I'm sorry - you're wrong. The family does NOT have to land with the principal applicant. As long as the principal applicant lands first - the rest of the family can land separately at a later date (as long as they land before the expiry date on their visas).awai ali said:For first point im not agree ......family must have to land with Principal applicant .....although Principal applicant may travel first and get PR card then get back and again his family have to travel with him .......in each CORP paper of family principal applicant details are included for this concern that entire family is landing with Principal Applicant.....
Yes - you can certainly do this. As long as your wife and children land BEFORE the expiry date on their PR visas.cimple said:thanks for your quick response .I was thinking the way you told but again here two point of view is different from mine and yours?

Thanks for providing a recent example. +1SATDXB said:Hi, i agree with member SCYLLA.
If the whole family cannot make together the landing together, then the PRINCIPLE APPLICANT has to land first. And then his or her other family members can make the landing before the expiry of their visas.
I am telling this because recently my friend did the same. He made his landing first, and then after few months his wife and children did the landing.
So no worries.
Cheers..
Always welcome dear... and +1 for you too.scylla said:Thanks for providing a recent example. +1
I am already inn Canada and i landed alone and my daughter came 5 months later. It is no problem. but remember you have to show the funds for the whole family , eventhough you will landing alone. When they land they will not be asked again.cimple said:thanks for your quick response .I was thinking the way you told but again here two point of view is different from mine and yours?

Hi Cimple, Scylla is right and i second him with my personal experience. The only thing is remember there is no visa extension and carry funds for the whole family., eventhough you will be alone. That is what i did. It is a good idea to come and see how the place is and look for accomodation for the family.cimple said:thanks Scylla for your time and information
