My mom has been in canada since march 2016 on a TRV. We extended the visitor visa in July 2016 for a year. This extension will expire in August 2017.
We are close to finalizing her PR app via the PGP sponsorship. Just did medical this week and paid the RPRF fees. But it will probably not be completed before the visa expires in August 2017.
I would like to apply for extension a second time - can i do that? Have anybody encountered issues when trying to extend a TRV for a second time?
for how long can I apply the extension? another year (just to be on the safe side in case the final stage of the PR takes more than 6months)?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
