I got PPR this morning :) I will mail the passport this afternoon

I have received the pre-arrival services letter too yesterday and no PPR yet. :( is this another new step in this long waiting process???? [sigh!!!....] I don't think i've heard of this pre-arrival letter in the older threads

Its not only the Ottawa office. My file is at the Pretoria office and medicals were done in June and till now nothing. it seems the unlucky files that got stuck somehow in the queue got really stuck. I personally know a couple of people from the 2015 batch who have landed too. It sucks!!!

Yes, Medical was done on June 12, 2017 and the status changed to medical passed 2 weeks later. I hope you are right and that if not this year then at least early next year it gets finalized. :)

How long after Medical passed did the background check say pass?

She did it in Oakville, ON. Where did your mum do hers?

My mom did her medical last Monday and today gckey says medical passed. Background check is however still in progress. How long does it usually take to clear? what should I be expecting next?
