Extending Open Work Permit For Protected Person

Hi,

I am a protected person and have applied for the PR. However, my current open work permit will expire before I receive my PR. Can someone guide me how can I apply for the extension of my Open Work Permit?

I have seen this Link on IRCC Website and it tells me to apply online. However, on my online account, I cannot see any option to apply for work permit extension.

Hi,

Sorry for bothering you again. I have checked status of my fingerprint. It says they are expired on this link.

Do I need to give biometrics and medical for the work permit extension. Please note that I am protected person, already applied for PR and waiting for them to ask me for both.

Now, I need to apply for extension to my work permit so that I may continue to work.
