Hi everyone,
I need a guide on my situation, I studied in Canada after graduation I worked for 9 months and switched to visitor visa , i was on visitor visa for 2 years i extended visitor 5 times reason for extension is because I was doing some self development and attending tech and startup conferences and mentorship to get idea on how to run a successful startup business back home.My last extension was not approved so I left 6 days after. Now I would like to visit Canada to attend some summer events and meetup with friends.Just wondering if my 5 extension will affect my Trv approval.I have a startup am managing now home and I don' t Intend to remain in Canada permanently.Am asking because it's less than 6 months that I returned from Canada after 5 years.
I hope to hear from all the experience people here.
Thanks

IMO, the fact you extended your stay five times can affect your new TRV application. IRCC will see you as a *resident* and not as a *visitor*.

I recommend you should not apply for a TRV for at least another year until you have established ties to your home country

My immigration consultant guided me poorly cos he told me I won't have any problem visiting Canada if I get home thats why we kept extending.
