If it is not mandatory for you and your dependent applicants to land at the same time, what you just said seems reasonable. Just check whether it is possible for you to land separately or not. I think I have read somewhere that all the family members should land together during this COVID-19 period

Apart from this, what you just said seems reasonable, but still since your spouse doesn't have a visitor Visa I think you should request for authorization before their departure to reunite you. It seems a little bit complicated, but in theory it appears to work

Same here. It seems there was kind of problem with their website last week. I resent the previous email with a SUPERSCRIPT at the top mentioning that "the email was sent before, but since I have not received the AOR email, I am resending it. Please ignore this email should you received the previous one"
And I sent this second email two days ago and received the auto-reply AOR this time
I suggest you do the same

Following the news of my friend with a COPR issued after 18th March 2020 and a written authorization from IRCC, he successfully landed last night without any problems. Here is a brief of his situation.

FSW outland from Iran, received his PPR email on 12th March 2020, but COPR was not issued until December 2020. He requested authorization to enter Canada since his brother is a Canadian citizen and received approval after 2.5 months. Requested authorization before he received his COPR

He had his tickets booked and asked for ok-to-board 5 days in advance and got one from Qatar Airways airline. He had every documents printed and carried them with him, and successfully landed last night

What was the process for the PR card for your friend? Did the immigration officer asked for the address the card need to be shipped.

Hi I asked IRCC agent about landing separately he advised there is no problem with it so I am thinking to fly next week. Had they asked to your friend about his financial support Like how much money he brought with him...can I change the quarantine address before arrival? When I applied travel exemption I putted my sister’s address which is in Vancouver but now I want to do my quarantine in Alberta..

1 suggestion at the immigration office please mention you are here to "Complete your landing formalities". That is what they are expecting.
I told them I am hear to meet my Family which caused confusion and I had to clarify a lot. Please keep that in mind. Also, Canada Service center for SIN at the Toronto airport is still closed and you will have to plan for 14 days for quarantine. Please complete ArriveCan formalities.

Hi I have heard from someone like if you have visitor visa stamped on your passport and you got travel exemption letter to reunite with extended family member they won’t stamp Copr and won’t complete landing formalities and let you in as visitor not pr. So did you also have visitor visa stamped

Travel Authorization email from IRCC took 12 Business days for my case. Passport delivery after Visa stamping would depend on the Visa office and delivery partner. Mine was New Delhi. Overall it took around 1 month from Passport request to delivery instructions and payment and pickup and than return. Total around 1 Month.

I asked a doctor to prescribe it. Went to the lab, gave the sample and report was emailed.
1. Make sure your Name and Date of Birth are as per your Passport. Some Lab are also adding Passport Number to the report.
2. Make sure Sample Received Date and Report Date are clearly mentioned.
3. Sample should be taken less than 72 hrs before you board for your flight.

Hi, Did you end up sending a follow up email to check on status of your written authorization request? If yes, can you tell me where I should be sending the email to? Did you get a response? I applied for my sister on April 26th 2021. She already has a visitor visa and will be traveling into Canada from the US.

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I was very confusing about the new policy for extended family member reunification under IMM0006. My question is we already have a ticket for my sister and her daughter (23 yrs old) to come to Canada on October 21, 2021 they are fully vaccinated and tourist approved. Does they still need the IMM0006 and authorization letter from CIC?
