Extended family authorization for exemption

Hi all, I recently received my visitor visa. I applied online together with the request for extended family authorization for exemptions as they stated on the CIC website that they will consider both together. But I did not receive any document/email for the authorization. I don’t want to apply again so as not to create double application. Anyone with suggestion or information on this.

You aren’t guaranteed an answer for special authorization and TRV at the same time. When did you get a response about the TRV?

Just received my passport back this Monday. I just wanted to know if they will send a response for the authorization or if I need to submit it again separately.

Can anyone tell me how can i contact a doctor in canada who can sign the letter required for my travel exemption my wife has got admission in may intake 2021 and she has some health issue for which i need to acomoany her in her initial stage in canada to make her settle down for that i need a authorization letter on compationate ground.

You can’t as they will not sign a letter without meeting your wife person. And why do you need a Canadian doctor? Your family physician does it.

The letter needs to be from a doctor in your home country, not Canada.

As said above, a Canadian doctor cannot provide such a letter without having the opportunity to examine your wife in person.

Me and my wife we Both are in india right now as for travel authorization i need a canadian doctor who can sign the letter for travel exemption on compationate grounds and i emailed PHAC they said its not necessary of my wife to be in canada while a doctor will sign the letter required

Assume these serious medical issues were declared in her medical.

I have my family doctor who is looking my wifes health since 5-6 years but in the letter they have written a doctor practising in canada only can sign

In that case this is mean for people who are already in Canada and want someone to travel to Canada to support them on a compassionate basis. So your options are to ether apply without a letter - or to wait until your wife is in Canada and is able to see a doctor here.

This letter isn't an option for you at this time.

Haven’t you already tried and been refused for written authorization to travel. It is the same process.

You should give up on the Idea of applying via the humanitarian and compassionate reason route which is not meant for your situation.
