Hello, I came to Vancouver BC, in late December 2019. Due to emergency and current pandemic, I need to apply to extend staying in Vancouver BC. I've been search online, but their website are guided me confused with no way download the form IMM 5708, no links to exact where to upload the application.
I only have less than 2 months left to stay in Canada legally. Can anyone help me, please.

Have you tried to book flight? There are still flights going from Vancouver to many countries in Asia

I'm a naturalization citizen of USA. I come to take care of my elderly cousin who lives alone here, and diagnosis terminal cancer. I must stay to here till her final moment.

You should provide proof that she has terminal cancer. That she has no other family to care for and that you have the funds to support yourself without working.

My priority is to extend staying in Canada as the deadline is near. The immigration website is confusing, there's no links to apply and upload the form. The US embassy is difficult to contact during coronavirus quarantine period.

There is no point extending now if you have 2 months left.

My mother is almost in the same situation, she does have visitor visa valid until 2022 but you need to leave canada after 6 months which would be June 5th . She can't fly backhoe or anywhere else at the moment due to the lockdowns and flight restrictions so the only choice I have is to apply for travel record so her stay can be extended.
I also strugled finding the right applications etc. but I finally figured out how to do it.
So you do need to have an online account on CIC - if you don't already have it register and log in and scroll down on the home page to Services and informations - there will be a list : My application , Immigrate and a few others. You need to click on Visit . from there you click - Stay in Canada longer .
It might send you back a few times , I think there is either a glitch in the system or they have some technical difficulties. So try different web browsers or different computers if you have, even your cellphone might work - it should guide you to a step where it asks you questions to create your online application for extending visa. Once you reach that step it will be saved and you'll be able to continue or access it from your personal cic account.

I thought I was going crazy today, since it wasn't just me experiencing this issues I'm sure they had some technical difficulties with the website.

Hope it helps and you're able to get to the online application.

Good luck!

Sorry, I'm not sure exactly what you meant.
You should wait until right before your status expires so you get the maximum extension possible. Even if you get refused you will have a few months while they process you extension request. You are taking advantage of being in implied status. If you apply now you will get a refusal/approval soon after your status expires.
