Extend Post Graduate work permit

I have just made express entry profile and my work permit is going to expire after 20 days, can anyone tell me how will I extend work permit. I have not received anything from CIC like ITA.

Unfortunately, you would need to apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit. You need the Acknowledgment of Receipt letter which is normally received after submitting your permanent residence application online (post ITA).

Not only you have to receive an ITA. You have to have AOR in order to be on "implied status" which allows you to stay in Canada legally. AOR only happens after you have submitted your full application (the next process after the ITA).

generally speaking, there're three ways:
1. BOWP, but only after you have submitted your application and get the AOR.
2. LMIA for closed work permit, either one or two years, depending on your job title and salary.
3. SOWP, if you have a spouse and he/she is currently studying in a recognized school in CAnada.
