Exress entry second time. Not sure what to fill.

Hi,
There is a question on my profile if I have applied for express entry before. I'm bit confised how to answer this.

Lemme explain my situation, I have created a file before and it said I'm not eligible becaise I didnt have a year experience but I still continued filling profile and submitted it. Not only it didn't take me to the but also it rejected the profile right away like automatically right next second I hit submit, cuz of ineligiblity. Now do I answer yes to that question or no? Please advise. Thank you

Creating an express entry profile doesn't mean you applied for Express Entry. It's only when you submit an application and receive AOR.
