Hey Guys,

just in middle of filling up th express entry profile, I came across some questions that i/m not sure what to answer,!!!!!

Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the job offer in Canada?
Does XYZ have a valid work permit for the current job in Canada?
Is XYZ's job offer from the employer named on the current work permit?
Has XYZ been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?)
Four digit NOC code of current work permit ?
Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the current work permit?


I'm currently working in Canada on an open work permit, however the employer has not issued an LMIA for me. Moreover, There is no NOC code mentioned on my work permit ?

You do not have a valid job offer, the very first question of that section should be "no" and all other questions will disappear.

So any job offer would not be counted unless it's supported by a LMIA, no matter if we have open work permit or not ?!

LMIA or LMIA exempt work permits which are employer specific (closed work permits) qualify for valid job offers.

You have an open work permit.
