Hi, I am planning to file my PR case and I was going through Canada.ca website to gather all the details. I have few questions related to that:

1. After creating the Express Entry profile if I dont get an invite within a year, after how much time I can reapply my case?
2. I have done Masters in Computer Applications and the NOC applicable for me has Computer Science education, will it cause any issue on my case ?

Looking for asap replies. Thanks

1. Any time while your IELTS score remains valid.
2. That does not matter.

Thanks, for helping me out with this.

I have few questions related to NOC. As per my job experience there are 2 NOC that fits - 2282 and 2173 . Can I mention both the NOC .

Also is there anyway to know how many ITA request are sent for these NOC.

Thanks,
Shruti Shah

For FSW, ITA doesn't depend on NOC

Hi there,

I have just taken the Eligibility Test online which states that I do not meet the requirments to apply for Express Entry. I have added up my points using the CIC points calculator though, and I have 416, which I know is higher than some people who have submitted profiles. Any idea as to why the eligibility test is saying no, and if I can still submit a profile regardless?

Many thanks

You're confusing two score scales.
1-The 67/100 points minimum to be eligible (which seems to be your problem). Called the 6 selection factors
2-The CRS based on which you are ranked among other candidates in the pool once you're determine to be eligible upon EE profile submission.

To know if you're eligible, the CRS calculator isn't the right tool. It's this:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

It's crucial that you read and understand all of it.

It's only when you calculated that you're eligible that your CRS score will matter. Otherwise, you won't enter the pool. You can submit a profile of course, but you'll receive a message right away stating you're not eligible.
