I need to sort an issue.

I have two passports in the same name and details from the same country.
In 2008 ,I got my old passport and went to the UK on a student visa and in 2009 I xame back to my home country.

In 2012, I got a new passport. Both the passports are valid for 10 years. I have gained my education qualification and work experience in India,using the new passport.

Now I want to migrate to Canada in Express entry. The problem is, there is no mention of my old passort in my new passport. Though there is no criminal record on me. Please suggest me the best way to go about it.

Well brother, there was no intention to cheat the government. There was a civil war in the country and I was in a peculiar situation to do it. I got my first passport of my country (Srilanka) from India, when I was 17 years old. THe second passport, I got it issued from my country when I was 22. We have two types of passport. Passport with (IC) and passport with (Non IC), IC is identity card which is issued for people over 18 years.

You will need legal help here my friend...as your case of having two passports under whatever circumstances is illegal....contact a lawer or whosoever can help....good luck..

The main question is if it is legal in your country. In Russia, since 2015 it is legal to hold two international passports. It is more convenient, as you now can get two visas at the same time.
