Express entry work experience

Hello all,

I have my profile in the pool awaiting an invitation to apply.
At the moment I have 1 years Canadian work experience UNTIL February 2020 when I will have 2 years work experience

My profile is already showing that I get points for 2 years, even though at the moment I only have 1. I double checked the dates in my profile, but it shows my current job as 02-2018 - present.

Why would it show that I have points for 2 years even though it is not yet February?
I don't want an ITA until Mid-Feb where I can prove my 2 years....

Option 1: You have to decline the ITA if you are invited on the basis of 2 years experience.
Option 2: Withdraw your EE profile and enter the EE pool once you have completed 2 years so that you can claim points for the experience.

I would recommend option 2 as you may be taking away someone else’s opportunity by sitting in the pool and receiving an ITA which you may eventually decline.

There may be more options that I am not aware of.

Simply decline the ITA. If you meet the cut-off (post Feb), you will get the ITA again.
