Hello everybody,

My estimated CRS score is 462. I do not have job offer. My high score is due to my qualification (PhD) and work experience in the USA (I am employed as data scientist since last 2 and half years). So far, there have been five Express Entry draws where candidates with a score of 453 and above received an ITA. My question is: If I receieve an ITA then do I only have 60 days to find a job? Or can I submit my papers without a job and keep looking (while my application is still being processed). Will be happy if someone can help me out here. Thanks!

You will have 60 days to submit the documents only.

Dear india_user25,

My apologies but did you mean that I dont have to find job within 60 days? If so, then how much time do I have to secure job offer after ITA? Thanks!

You don't need to have a job before or after the ITA. Getting a job will obviously help you to establish yourself, but CIC does not penalize you for not having a job.

No such compulsion. Having a LMIA approved job offer adds 600 points to your profile. You can submit application and get PR without a job offer.
