Hello..
Has anyone got any advice or had previous experience with applying for express entry, while having a 'clean slate' on your criminal history.
Coming from New Zealand I had a minor conviction 6 years ago but had it removed from my criminal history under the 'clean slate act 2004'
Here is some information on the clean slate act :
"This Clean Slate Act lets a person with less serious convictions to put their past behind them. It lets you conceal your convictions in most circumstances. There are some exceptions when your convictions will still be disclosed."
Foreign governments are not bound by New Zealand legislation. The Criminal Records (Clean Slate) Act has no impact on the border, visa and immigration disclosure requirements of another country.
I have the ITA so just wondering if anyone has any information or similar experience?
Thanks for any help!
