Hi there!

I get my IELTS results this Friday and then I will be sending my express entry form away. I have had my ECA done and looked into the points and should be on for about 470?

Would anyone share how long the process has taken for them in terms of being offered an ITA? Or how long the whole process has taken them?

Also I am booked in for a medical check next week- is this too hasty, should I wait for an ITA?

Thanks in advance!!!

Jen

Congratulations with the first steps!

With 470 you will most likely be invited in the next round.

In terms of how long it will take to get a pr, you can check the tracker or use analytics tool to estiamte when your PR visa will be granted.

Hello Jen. Congrats on your high score.

I am also preparing to submit my EE but waiting on spouse IELTS and ECA. So how did you come about your calculations. Please point me in that direction let me calculate mine as well.

@andy108, I am assuming you maintain your tracker website? Would it be possible to display "Median" and the "Standard Deviation" for the timelines? I think that'd give a slightly better picture than just the min, max and mean. Obviously, you're free to ignore this :)

470 is a great score. You should most probably get an ITA in the next couple of rounds. In 2016, invites have been announced and sent out on Wednesdays.

@shankster87 perhaps it's better to look at mean (only in this context). If we simply let the "outliers" distort the mean, everyone will have a more conservative timeline in their heads and it will lead to less anxiety too ;)

470 is a good score. Hopefully you should receive an ITA in the next draw. For processing time, there is no fixed timeline. It all depends on your individual case and your case officer. Just make sure you provide ALL the information in your first submission. Patience is key!

Getting your medicals done early is good. You don't have to wait for the ITA. In my case my medicals got updated the second day of my application submission.

Wish you the best!

Thanks very much everyone! It is just so much to get through but I am determined not to use a immigration lawyer! @akubilly there is a link on the website that shows you how to calculate your CRS- I just added mine up! Will know for sure on Friday when I file the form.
