Hi all,

I need you advise.
I have recently graduated from my Masters in Electrical engineering from a university in BC. I have one year of co-op experience in Canada and close to 3 years of lecturer experience back Home. I have got a job as electrical engineering and working in BC.
I understand the BC PNP is closed now and probably will start from July. Will you please advise which process should I go for applying PR? I have given the IELTS and police clearance is under processing.
I shall highly appreciate your help.

regards

Hi Gunpowder,
I would suggest that you go for federal process of CEC right now which means you work under O, A or B occupation for one year and in mean while take a look what BC PNP is coming with and move accordingly.

Its always better to follow Federal rules rather than province as it will lead to result fasted and more reliable.

Just my thoughts.

Thank you

I believe you qualify for BC PNP Post Graduate Stream. You can wait for 10 days once it reopens. (if they decide not to remove the program)

Thank you for your suggestion, but I don't want to wait 1 year, as I think if everything goes right BC express entry may finalize within 1 year.

I think that's a good idea. But if I take the BC PNP nomination than I have to stay within BC till the process finalizes, right?

If I want to take the advantage of express entry, what is the document my employer need to provide as a proof for my employment?

regards

I was filling up my profile for the express entry. Could you please suggest what date should I put here.

Q. Primary Occupation (4 digit NOC code)

I choose 2133 as Electrical and electronics engineer as the roles matches with mine.

NExt queston is

From Which date I am first qualified to practice this profession?

Year and Month.

Since, I am not an PEng yet, what date should I put? I just have applied for the EIT with APEGBC.

regards

Note: How do I add an image?

Eventually you'll realise BC is one of the best province in Canada.
You'll love it here.
And BC PNP will be secure for you too. Take advantage of it.
