Hello Folks,

Need advise.

I took the IELTS General test.Recently got my IELTS results L7.5,R6,W7,S8. Even if i change the Reading from 6.0 to 7.0 my score is less than 420. Not sure is this right calculation or not.

Also, when do i receive Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation code? Once i submit my EE Profile or when i create my EE profile? Please advise.

Thanks

Hello ,

I have 2 Questions about a relative ( sister ).in Canada and for which i can claim points.

1. What or which document is required to prove we are blood related
Our Birth certificate does not have parents name
Our passports have our father name - Is this considered as a document ? or is there specific Notarized one

2. I have their COPR, PR status, Passport : as confirms the status of their PR

But, the Lease doc is 1 year old. As per CIC, it should 6 months latest or utility bills . Can utility bills be shown as Credit card or ???

Please share the details also, if there is any specific Documents

Thanks in adavance

I have a question for seniors.

I just received my GCMs (ATIP) notes, and Eligibility Status is Recommended Pass. In certain sections of the document, status is noted as Obsolete . For example, work exp (including my current employment), edu, and ielts (which I know is still valid). What does it mean?

I am planning to call CIC this week or next to clarify. Would be great if any seniors know what it means. Thank you!

Hi there,

I got eTA and preparing to apply.
While filling out my profile I have chosen to only pay Application fee first (without Right of permanent resident fee). Can I switch it now?

Thanks in advance.

L=8.50,
R=7.50,
W=6.50,
S=8.50,
OverAll=8.00 Scores in TRF will be Final

Is this good enough to apply under express entry.

Hello. Does anyone here had a success rate in remarking in the reading section? L-8, R-6.5, W-7, S-7. I was too confident with my reading, I don't know what happened. I took the exam with IDP.

I'm creating my express entry profile and I came across the below page. I have overall 9 years experience in Retail sales. 7 years as Sales executive and 2 yrs as Sales supervisor.

In the first section I selected 6 years and above but in the second section my NOC is not listed (Skilled trades) so should I choose None??
My NOC code is 6211 - Retail Sales Supervisor

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
#I have being working for 1 year as a self employed in india.I am a pharmacist and have my own medical shop where I provide medicine to the patient.so how can I get a experience letter?and prove my experience for express entry?is there any way to prove it please guide! I will be thankful to you

Hi All

Need some help in filling EE entry profile:

1) For blood relationship - Will passport and birth certificate having both our parents name solve the purpose?
2) Job responsibility letter - Do we need to provide it for all organizations? One of the company is not providing the JR letter. What shall we do ?

hello all..
I have few queries...
1. I have done my post graduation from private university (Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur) affiliated by UGC-AICTE. Will WES evaluate my credential of private university? as i have seen on WES website ,they evaluate credentials of only those universities which are graded 'A' by NAAC. My university is not graded by NAAC. Should i send my transcript to WES?
2. I have done Bachlor and post graduaion from 2 different universities. For credential evaluation through WES...two separate transcript envelopes will be available to me from each university. Can single primary applicant send two transcripts for credential evaluation?
Hi

Suresh Gyan Vihar University approved by WES or IQAS
