I have decision made status on ECAS from 12 days. I'm waiting for PPR. How I change my email address or how I can check If my last request for change email was approved?

Hello,

I have my ECA assessed by WES. The results are:

1. First degree: Canadian Bachelors Equivalent
2. Second degree: One and a half years of graduate study. - I have not finished my Masters yet

My question is: Will my second degree qualify as "STUDY TOWARDS MASTERS" such that I can add it as two or more cert/diploma?
That will increase my CRS from 443 to 470. Thanks

Hi Guys,

I was trying and calculating the points for EE for my Friend who is a Doctor -

Language - IELTS - R-8.5 L-8.5 W-7.5 S-7.5 which makes a Total of 34 Points
Ages - 25 - 110 Points
NOC - General Physician - 135 points for Education
Work Experiance - 2 years about to reach 3 - so either 25 or 50 Points
Additional Points - Post secondary Degree (does medical degree count as a Post Secondary as well ? ) 50 Points.
Total 354 with 2 year exp
Total 379 with 3 years exp

Is my calculations right ? and the cut offs right now are around 450 mark so how do you guys recommend increasing the score.

Regards,
FK

Dear Members,

Is there any thread which discuss more about PNP for all the provinces ? It will be of good help whose CRS score is low at the moment so they can apply.

Regards
Ash

You are calculating language points incorrectly.

The language points should be 128 I think. You get points for each section separately.

Hello,

When creating an EE, do you need to specify if you want to have the PNP path or the regular FSWP?
I mean, if i create an EE, will the provinces invite me or do I need to specify it?
Is it better to have two EE profiles? example: one for regular FSWP and one for PNP so whichever invites you first? Thanks

Cyron got it ... its 34 per section .. lol thats why i was having a tough time with this .. Thanks for all the help

No. You must not have 2 active profiles at once.

No, you don't have to specify any path. You will primarily be eligible under one of the 3 economic immigration programs. FSW, CEC or FST. After this, you can choose to apply for PNP.

Thanks for the reply.
If I want to stick with the regular FSWP without going through PNP, can I do that or am I automatically qualified to PNP? I just want the fastest path at the moment as I calculated my CRS to be 443. Should I wait for the score to go down or apply to OINP? Thanks

I get married at 29 august, so after that I let CIC know about it, and they wrote me to ignore my PPR, and send additional documents for my spouse. Firts couple forms to fill out, second they sent a medical instructions. During this, they changed my ECAS on IN PROCCESS, now I am on Decision Made and waiting from 2 weeks for our PPR. but I dont know if they apllied my last email change :(
